Next in person

Thursday 16 July 2026

An introduction for owners building toward growth, exit, or succession. A more valuable business is built deliberately, project by project. This session shows you where the value actually sits across your business, and the one project that would move it most this year.

A light-filled meeting room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a timber table

What we'll cover.

  • Growth: where growth actually comes from, and the one or two levers that matter most for you right now
  • Financial: why your profit isn't sitting in your bank account, and what your numbers are really telling you
  • People and culture: whether you've built a team that runs the business, or you are the business
  • Operations: whether it runs on systems or on you, and why that decides what it's worth

Who it's for.

Owners and directors of private businesses, roughly $1M to $20M in revenue, building toward something: a bigger business, an exit, or handing it on. If the business is working but you're not sure where the real value is or how to lift it, this is the session.

What you'll leave with

A clearer way to see your own business across the four areas that drive its value, and a sense of the one project that would move it most this year. Not a fix, a map. The depth comes later if you want it.

The format

Ninety minutes. Brad Turville walks through the four areas, with real anonymised numbers on screen and a short self-check you score against your own business as you go.

Run two ways, same content:

  • Online, live on Zoom, twice a month. Join from anywhere. Live only, so you get the real thing.
  • In person, once a month at Work Tank in Essendon. A small room of business owners, then drinks and a feed with the group. Limited to 12 seats, so these go by request.

Common questions.

Is there a cost?

No. It's free to attend, online or in person.

What if none of these dates work?

The online session runs twice a month, so there's rarely long to wait. If nothing here suits, leave your email and we'll let you know as soon as new dates are up.

Online or in person?

If you're in Melbourne and want the room and the conversation after, come in person. If not, or a weeknight evening doesn't suit, online is the same ninety minutes.
